How to get to the start?
For your convenience, please use public transport. On the day of the run (September 28), participants can move around by public transport (bus, tram, metro , trains SKM ) free of charge - on the basis of starting number. Tram traffic on the Poniatowski Bridge will be suspended between 7:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Number of parking places near start and finish line is very limited.
FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Participants of 36th PZU Warsaw Marathon can move around by public transport (bus, tram, metro, trains SKM ) free of charge on the day of the race (September 28)- on the basis of starting number. Race bib also authorizes the use of car parks "Park and Ride" located at some subway stations and hubs.
Attention – race bib does not allow free of charge travel by Koleje Mazowieckie trains and is valid as a ticket only on the day of the race.
Changing rooms and deposits are located at the National Stadium (Gate No. 2 and 3) close to railway station "Warszawa Stadion" . The most convenient access are by SKM trains or Koleje Mazowieckie trains from the city center:
PKP Warszawa Śródmieście - 6 minutes,
PKP Powiśle - 3 minutes.
In the morning motor traffic (from midnight) and tram traffic (7:00 a.m-11:15 a.m.) on the Poniatowski Bridge will be suspended.
Large urban car parks are located, among others, around Pałac Kultury i Nauki (the Palace of Culture and Science) (paid car park), Plac Konstytucji (Constitution Square), PKP Station Powiśle. During the marathon the number of parking spots is limited.
